VETERINARY PROCESSES

Equine welfare is of paramount importance to City Racing. City Racing has sought the advice and guidance of top racing vets. Consequently, a Veterinary Advisory panel, comprising of top racing vets, has been established to create a comprehensive Veterinary Plan for City Racing.

This Veterinary Plan outlines in detail the specifications for a horse to be able to enter a City Racing race as well as steps to be taken to ensure horse and jockey safety on race day.

These criteria are to ensure that the horses are in the best physical condition and therefore help to mitigate any risk of injury to both horse and jockey. City Racing takes Equine Welfare extremely seriously and is working hard to make sure that a City Racing Event is a safe and fun event for all those involved.
